Relevant information before submitting your paper. Please read it carefully to avoid wasting your time and making an incomplete submission that may delay the publication of your paper.

SUBMISSIONS
  • You should submit your manuscript along with the cover letter to southbchem@gmail.com. CLICK HERE to download the TEMPLATE and COVER LETTER;
  • Be aware that the Journal may review your manuscript at any time before the publication and postpone or exclude it from publication if concerns are raised regarding the authorship, authenticity, malpractice, or other undesirable issues that may occur;
  • Be aware that the Journal does not provide ahead of print publication;
  • Plan your publication with us. Please, CLICK HERE to check the publication schedule of the Journal;
  • In case the current issue is closed, your paper, if suitable, will be considered for the first possible issue. It does not mean it will be in the first subsequent issue;
  • AT ANY TIME OF THE PUBLICATION PROCESS, the editors can REMOVE THE PAPER if any problem regarding malpractice, plagiarism, or ethics emerges.
REVIEW PROCESS
  • The review process may take up to 180 days, starting from receiving the complete submission of the files (cover letter and manuscript). In exceptional circumstances, the review process may take longer. Each case is analyzed individually.
  • After the complete review process is done, if your paper was considered approved for publication, it will be published in the first possible issue of the Journal (it does not mean it will be the next one);
  • This Journal DOES NOT HAVE ANY FAST TRACK OR SPEEDY REVIEW PROCESS. The Journal provides to all authors equal opportunities. If you are looking for a speedy publication, this is the wrong Journal; Also, be aware that the Journal has issues in JUNE and DECEMBER;
  • THE LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE may be issued if, and only if, the article has undergone a complete peer-review and was considered ACCEPTED for publication. Letters of Acceptance will NOT be issued for newly sent manuscripts that have not yet been appropriately evaluated and peer-reviewed. Please, do not ask for a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) before the complete review process. Also, be aware that the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE may be revoked at any time if concerns about the manuscript emerge.
WARNINGS
  • You should submit your manuscript along with the cover letter to the e-mail southbchem@gmail.com. This Journal does not use any other way for paper submissions and does not use any different e-mail address than this one. Also, this Journal does not have representatives, and the authors should only submit manuscripts through this e-mail account. The Journal does not recognize, authorize, or allow any person to be its representative in any place in the world; In case you are in doubt about any information, please contact the editors-in-chief;
  • Please, be aware of counterfeit e-mails different from the official one (southbchem@gmail.com) of the Journal. They do not belong to this Journal. Some people improperly and criminally might be using this Journal to scam researchers and charge money from them promising to publish papers in this Journal. These people might be using fake e-mail addresses to call for papers and promising fast publication in the months this Journal does even have issues. Please, pay attention.

AHEAD OF PRINT AND RETRACTIONS
  • Be aware that the Journal does not provide ahead of print publication
  • The editors of the SOUTHERN JOURNAL OF SCIENCES want to clarify to all authors that this JOURNAL DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY ELECTRONIC PUBLICATION OF ACCEPTED PAPERS BEFORE PRINT PUBLICATION AND ITS RELEASE ON THE WEBSITE.
  • The PDFs Drafts provided to authors before the paper's publication cannot be used as proof of publication or even be cited and quoted in other publications. The purpose of the PDFs DRAFTS is to allow the authors to do the last review to find anything that could be wrong after the formatting procedures for the adequation of the template and spaces of the Journal.
  • The PDFs DRAFTS do not have information that could be used as proof of publication and be cited in another scientific paper. The PDFs DRAFTS may contain statements, opinions, and information that have errors in facts, figures, or interpretation. Accordingly, the Journal editors are not responsible for using any such inaccurate or misleading data, opinion, or information contained in the PDFs DRAFTs articles.
